Who was Arthur "Bo" Felder?

Arthur “Bo” Felder was a faithful member of St. Luke Baptist Church, a devoted youth ministry leader, and a decorated Army captain. Known for his quiet strength and spiritual maturity, Arthur led by example—whether in church, in the classroom, or on the battlefield. He served nearly 20 years in the Army National Guard, completing peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Honduras before giving his life in Iraq. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

The Arthur “Bo” Felder Memorial Scholarship was established to carry on his legacy of faith, education, leadership, and community service. Each year, this scholarship is awarded to students who exemplify these same values—young people who, like Arthur, are committed to making a difference in the lives of others through character, calling, and conviction.
